if you are looking for a great wicker park/bucktown spot, mirai is going to treat you right.
how it sizes up: 4.5
atmosphere: really sleek, modern decor. makes for a great friday night dinner and drinks.
showstopper: tuna tuna salmon and special zuke.
creativitay: the maki menu is short and sweet. no abundance of specialty makis, but the quality over quantity is superb.
would we go again?: absolutely. we've made our second trip and we imagine it won't be our last.
misc: great outdoor seating. it's the first to fill up and not overwhelmed with street noise. another plus, if you haven't thought ahead to make a reservation, you can kill some time at the bar and lounge upstairs while waiting for a table.
