it might have been raining sideways, but that didn't keep us from braving the elements for shiso.
how it sizes up: 4
atmosphere: seats maybe 35 tops. bright with really modern and simple decor. we were the first two people in the restaurant and sort of felt like we needed to whisper. that all changed when it started to fill up.
showstopper: the crazy crump.
creativitay: they use a lot of escolar. we're big fans of that. they have a long menu complete with some tasty vegetarian options as well.
would we go again?: definitely.
misc: little to no parking on north ave. taking the public transportation would be the way to go. our server's english wasn't super, so i think she had trouble understanding us and vice versa. over all a great first time at shiso.
